How coaching works
Your coach is AI, not a human instructor. The service retrieves relevant LicenseIQ lessons and combines those excerpts with your question, conversation and study context. Lovable’s AI gateway sends the request to the configured Google Gemini model (currently Gemini 3 Flash Preview). Returned text is streamed to the app and may include lesson citations. Browser voice can read it aloud.
Content sources and review
Original study content is based on state statutes, commission rules and candidate handbooks. Primary-source human review is our editorial standard, not a verified certification that every lesson or question has been individually reviewed or is current. AI-generated chat answers are not routinely approved by a human before display. Check primary sources, and report errors.
Limits
AI may hallucinate, misinterpret a question, miss a state exception or cite material that does not fully support its answer. It is a study aid, not legal advice or official licensing instruction. We do not guarantee passing or a particular readiness outcome. Graded-assessment safeguards reduce misuse but detection is not infallible.
Chat use, provider retention and training
We save in-app chats for conversation history and process request text to deliver answers, enforce limits and maintain the service. Companion requests include relevant page material only after an action. The code does not establish the third-party gateway/model provider’s training and retention terms. We have not verified a contractual no-training or zero-retention guarantee for this integration and therefore do not claim chats are never used to train third-party models. Avoid personal, confidential or sensitive content. Review the provider policies and contact us before submitting sensitive material.
Voice and your choices
Voice recognition and playback are optional browser services; audio handling depends on the browser vendor. Use text instead, stop microphone access or revoke permissions at any time. You can delete account chats with account deletion or request information through Your choices.
