Who we are and scope
IQ Realty Labs, New Jersey, USA, operates LicenseIQ. This policy covers the website, study account and LicenseIQ Study Companion. Third-party course websites and providers have their own policies.
Account and study information
We collect account email, first name, authentication information, selected state, target exam date, experience, diagnostic answers, prep plan, course completion, practice attempts, missed-question review schedules, mock results and study activity. We keep your plan, trial dates, usage counters and extension device metadata to provide access and enforce limits.
Coach, page content and voice
We store in-app coach conversations and lesson citations. Coaching requests may contain your message history, course excerpts, lesson context, page title, URL, page text and highlighted selection. The companion reads page text only when you click an action or submit a study message. Tab changes update title and URL locally without reading page text. Text is truncated before processing. Browser speech recognition and speech synthesis depend on your device and browser; speech recognition may send audio to the browser vendor. The application sends recognized text for coaching and does not itself persist microphone recordings.
Forms and communications
School inquiries collect name, organization, email, jurisdiction, learner size and message. Contact messages collect name, email and message. Privacy requests collect name, email, jurisdiction, request type and optional details. Optional lead and waitlist records may include email, name, state, target date and an expressed marketing preference. We use submissions to respond, administer requests and discuss the inquiry you made.
Purposes and service providers
We use this information to operate accounts, personalize study, generate coaching, synchronize progress, prevent abuse and respond to requests. Lovable Cloud provides account and data services. Lovable’s AI gateway routes coach requests to the configured Google Gemini model provider. Relevant request text is processed by these providers. Provider retention and training restrictions for this integration have not been independently verified; we do not promise zero retention or no third-party training. Do not submit confidential information.
Operational information and storage
Hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, request metadata, error diagnostics and security logs. Verified host IP metadata may be hashed into short-lived rate-limit buckets. Browser storage holds session and study preferences; see Cookies and storage for the named keys. Cookie-free first-party funnel events record landing, state-page visits, signup, completed diagnostics, first coach messages and trials. Anonymous page-visit identifiers exist only in tab memory; account milestones use verified account IDs. No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are installed. Content reports include the selected question or lesson, reason, note and account ID; administrator review notes are private.
Sharing and no sale
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share necessary information with service providers to operate the service and may disclose it when legally required, to protect safety or rights, or in a business transfer subject to applicable law. School inquiries do not automatically give schools access to private learner progress. LicenseIQ is a product of IQ Realty Labs. We share your information with sister companies, such as ListIQ, only with your consent — for example when you choose to be introduced on the I passed page — and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Retention and security
Account information and saved study records remain while needed for your account and service operation. Inquiry and privacy-request records remain as needed to respond and document compliance; a fixed retention schedule is not currently implemented. Account deletion removes associated app records and the auth identity through a verified server request. Provider backups, logs and other browser copies may persist under their own retention periods. We restrict private records and use encrypted HTTPS transport, but no system guarantees absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction you may request access, deletion, correction, portability or opt-out of sale/sharing and may appeal a decision by contacting us. We do not sell or share for advertising, so an opt-out request records your preference rather than disabling a sale. Use Your choices or signed-in Settings for account deletion. We may verify identity and authority, apply lawful exceptions and respond within applicable legal deadlines without discrimination.
Children, international processing and changes
LicenseIQ is intended for adult licensing learners, not children under 18. Service providers may process information outside your state or country. We update this policy when our practices change and identify the revision date; material changes will be communicated as required by law.
