Brokerage Relationship Disclosure Form (New Hampshire)
The commission form that Rea 701.01 requires licensees to give consumers at the first business meeting to disclose the brokerage relationship in writing. It explains seller agency, buyer agency, disclosed dual agency, designated agency and the facilitator role. If the consumer declines to sign, the licensee notes it and keeps the form for three years. At open houses, a sign or similar notice disclosing the relationship with the seller may stand in for the form.
- Exam tip
- The trigger is the 'first business meeting', such as a coffee-shop discussion of needs and budget.
- Example
- A salesperson meets a couple to discuss their budget; they read the form but decline to sign, so she notes the refusal and keeps it for three years.
