Real Estate Examining Board (REEB) (Wisconsin)

Wisconsin's Real Estate Examining Board (REEB) is the policy body that grants licenses, approves the standard WB contract forms and education programs, and writes the administrative rules in REEB chapters 11 to 25. The Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is the administrative agency that processes applications, collects fees, and investigates. Salesperson applicants generally complete a 72-hour prelicense program and pass a single combined Pearson VUE exam of 140 scored items with a scaled score of 75, applying before the passing score is one year old.

Exam tip
Wisconsin does not split its exam into national and state portions. '72 to learn, 140 to earn, 75 to pass, 1 year to file'; out-of-state applicants from non-reciprocal states take a 13-hour course.
Example
A candidate passes in May 2025 but applies in July 2026; her score expired in May 2026, so she must retest.
