DOS lists $65 initial salesperson application (license_fee; was $55) and $15 exam; no fingerprint requirement for salespersons. Must be sponsored by a NY broker. Broker: 152 hrs total, 2 yrs licensed salesperson (or 3 yrs general real estate) plus a points threshold; $185 app. Course cost range is market estimate. DOS publishes no pass rates.
